Part Description: This genuine LG PureSource refrigerator water filter uses advanced activated carbon block filtration to deliver clean, fresh-tasting water and ice directly from your refrigerator dispenser. Tested and certified to NSF/ANSI Standards 42 and 53, it effectively reduces chlorine taste and odor, lead, mercury, asbestos, benzene, cysts, sediment, rust, particulates, and select pharmaceuticals and pesticides. Filter life is 6 months or 200 gallons, whichever comes first. Flow rate is 0.5 GPM with an operating pressure of 20–125 PSI and an operating temperature of 33–100°F. Installation requires no tools and no water shut-off — simply twist and lock into place. Flush approximately 2.5 gallons through the dispenser after installation before use.

Fitment / Compatibility: This genuine OEM filter fits select LG french door, side-by-side, and bottom-freezer refrigerators, as well as select Kenmore Elite refrigerator models including those cross-referenced as Kenmore 9490, 46-9490, and 469490.
