The 1771-IAD is the OEM 16-point discrete digital input module from Allen-Bradley's 1771 PLC-5 family. Accepts 120 Vac (50/60 Hz) and 125 Vdc input signals. Backplane current: 195 mA at 5 VDC. Used to interface discrete field devices including pushbuttons, limit switches, relay contacts, motor starter auxiliary contacts, and pilot lights. Compatible with 1771-A1B through A4B and later universal I/O chassis, as well as 1771-AM1 and AM2 chassis. Requires 1771-WH field wiring arm. Note: Discontinued by Rockwell Automation as of March 10, 2020. We recommend verifying any current supersede numbers through Rockwell Automation or an authorized distributor prior to ordering.
